She wanted to believe that she had infinite worth, but she was afraid

When she stopped by the Infinite Worth booth at Valleyfest to ask about the message, she looked burdened with worry. I explained that our organization is not affiliated with any group, religion, person, or organization and we have no agenda. We’re just promoting a message of kindness and love when we tell people “Everyone has infinite worth.” She questioned, “What about X or Y religious leaders?” What she meant in her brief question was, “Do I have to believe the teachings of X or Y to accept or understand the message that I have infinite worth?” I acknowledged that some people choose to follow X and Y. I stated that you have infinite worth no matter what you believe. A wave of relief and joy visibly washed over her. She wanted to believe that she had infinite worth, but she was afraid that it wouldn’t be true if she didn’t believe in X or Y. She gladly accepted the two You Have Infinite Worth pens that I handed her, one for her and one to giveaway to a friend who also wanted to believe it was true about herself.
